Spooktacufur

Spooktacufur is an all-ages, single-day Halloween-themed furry convention held in Salt Lake City, Utah. The 2026 edition takes place on Saturday, 24 October, running from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center. This marks a new venue for the mini-con, with ticket sales limited to test the capacity of the downtown location. Admission is strictly pre-registration only, with no tickets sold at the door, ensuring a controlled and accessible environment for attendees.

The event features Hannimations as its first-ever Guest of Honor. This local Utah artist, known for creating plushies, stickers, and apparel, will have a dedicated booth in the Artist Alley and display official artwork throughout the convention floor. The programme includes a fursuit parade, various panels, and meetups, designed to be festive and welcoming for families and first-time attendees alike.

Community engagement is a central pillar of Spooktacufur, featuring a silent charity auction supporting HawkWatch International and Paws With A Cause. Additionally, the event partners with the Utah Food Bank for a food drive, where the first 50 attendees to show a donation at check-in receive an exclusive sticker. Tickets are released in three timed drops in August, September, and October, with General Admission priced at $20 and a Sponsor tier at $30 that includes parking validation and a listing in the conbook.
