Den privacy

Lucien's Den stores only the information needed to show plans and votes to current members of the same Telegram group, and to let members find friends for private event invitations.
The legal bit
LuciFurs is the UK data controller and uses legitimate interests to provide and secure the private group service people choose to use. The main Privacy and data rights notice covers contact details, providers, international processing, cookies, your rights, objections and ICO complaints.
Stored
Your Telegram numeric ID and current display name, the Telegram group ID, type and title, personal calendar events, private Den plans, voting rounds, Going/Maybe choices, security audit outcomes, and pseudonymous usage events. When someone selects you for an invitation, LuciFurs retains your display name, optional username and whether you had an Events profile with that invitation.
Private event crew drafts
If you choose to share a crew link, Telegram receives the protected link and a generic message, without the crew's event details, Den name, notes or responses. You choose the chat and review before sending. Copying or sharing the link does not grant access: the recipient must sign in and pass the current Den membership check. Telegram may retain a message you send under its own policies; deleting a crew makes its link unavailable.
You can choose Joining, Maybe or Not joining for a crew. Only current Den members can see your saved name and response. Clearing removes your name and choice from the list; a private revision marker remains until expiry to prevent an older save restoring it. Responses expire with the crew and are removed when you delete your account or the crew or Den is deleted. Leaving the Telegram group removes your access after the membership recheck; your recorded response remains until account deletion or expiry. Crew responses never change public Going or send Telegram messages.
A crew links a public event to private meetup, travel and other notes. Current Den members can read it; the creator and Den administrators can edit, close or delete it. No Going choice or Telegram message is created. Crews expire with the Den after 28 days without access, or 28 days after the event end saved at creation, whichever is earlier. A moved event does not extend that saved deadline. Deleting the creator's account removes their crews. Routing-only cleanup records and an account deletion fence prevent old sessions recreating deleted crew content.
Not stored
Your phone number, contacts, unrelated messages, chat history, or membership of groups that have not connected a Den. LuciFurs does not import or retain complete Telegram group rosters: it searches connected Dens live only after a signed-in member types at least three characters. A profile photo is cached only for the separate public attendance feature when you explicitly enable attendee-list visibility.
Finding friends for invitations
A live search may return current Telegram members of a Den you share, including people who have never registered with LuciFurs. The bot checks both people still belong to that Den before creating a new invitation. The invitation is keyed to the recipient's Telegram account, so it appears automatically if they later sign in. Existing invitations remain if either person later leaves the Den.
Public event attendance is separate
Interested and Going choices on public calendar events are not Den votes and do not depend on group membership. Attendance identities are hidden by default, while totals are public. See the separate Events privacy notice.
Who can see it
You alone can see personal calendar events. Current verified members see Den events, names and choices only inside their own Den. Telegram group administrators manage plans and rounds. Private data is loaded as a separate signed-in overlay and is not added to public feeds, shareable event pages, search metadata, previews, or public caches.
Telegram membership is checked automatically to allow or refuse Den access. This has no legal or similarly significant effect. Email contact@lucifu.rs if a check appears wrong.
Usage logging
LuciFurs records coarse server-side actions, such as signing in, opening a Den, adding a plan or posting a round, to understand whether features are useful. A keyed pseudonym allows repeat use to be counted without putting Telegram user or group IDs in logs. Logs do not contain names, event titles, locations, URLs, poll choices, IP addresses or browser fingerprints.
The global administrator can see a Den's title, timezone, creation and last-access times, retention deadline, and aggregate counts for cached members, shared events, rounds, voters and Telegram polls. They cannot open a Den unless they are a current member, and the admin area does not show private event titles, notes, votes or member identities.
Public LuciFurs group
The Lucien's Den landing page contains a normal public link to the global LuciFurs Telegram group. Telegram requires manual approval before someone joins. This public invitation is separate from private Dens and does not expose their calendars, members, plans, polls or results.
Location suggestions
If Google location suggestions are enabled, text typed into a location field is sent directly from your browser to Google Places to return venue and address matches. LuciFurs requests only the formatted address after you choose a result. Suggestions are optional: you can enter any location manually if you do not want to select a Google result.
Leaving and deletion
Active Den data and personal events are retained for 28 days after access. Each successful access renews the relevant 28-day period. Leaving the Telegram group removes Den access after membership is rechecked and prevents new shared-Den invitations, but does not remove invitations already sent. Deleting your Den account removes personal events, invitations, stored identity and sessions, and labels historical votes as “Former member”. A later live search can find the same Telegram account again if it is still a current Den member. Administrators can permanently delete a Den and all of its private plans, votes and memberships immediately.
