York Furs 20th Anniversary Halloween Spectacular 2026

York Furs 20th Anniversary Halloween Spectacular is a one-day furry social taking over YHA York on 31 October 2026. This is a big milestone for the local community, marking two decades of regular meetups in the city. The event runs from 11am until late, giving you plenty of time to settle in, dance, or just hang out with friends. It is a dedicated space for fursuiters and non-suiters alike to celebrate the group's history together.

The venue is a youth hostel located just outside the city centre, about a 20 minute walk from York railway station. They have secured the whole building for the night, which means you get private rooms and a dedicated fursuit lounge. There are DJs and dance floors set up, plus plenty of open space for mingling. If you need a place to stay, they have various room types available for the night of 31 October to 1 November. Just a heads up, if not all bedrooms are sold, other guests might be present, but the event program stays the same.

Getting there is straightforward since York has good rail links from London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Edinburgh. The venue is accessible with step-free entry. It is a practical choice for a long day of partying, especially with the option to stay overnight. The medieval garden at Homestead Park is right next door if you want some fresh air between sets. It is a simple, well-organised social for anyone looking to join in on the anniversary celebrations.
