VancouFur (VF) 2027

VancouFur (VF) is a five-day furry convention running from March 4 to 8, 2027 at the Richmond Conference Centre in Richmond, BC. It stands as Canada's primary West Coast gathering, bringing together a large and active community for a full weekend of programming. The 2027 edition carries the theme of Nightfall, setting a distinct tone for the year's events.

The venue sits right in Richmond, which puts you steps away from some of the best Asian cuisine in the area. Getting there is straightforward, with Vancouver International Airport located within the city and the Canada Line SkyTrain connecting directly from downtown Vancouver. The convention also runs a dedicated digital attendance track, featuring a custom VRChat world and a persistent Minecraft server, so you can join in from anywhere.

For those staying on-site, the main hotel block is at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel, which enforces a four-night minimum stay to keep the community together for the whole run. Overflow options are available at nearby properties like the Sure Stay by Best Western. The event is organized by the BC Anthropomorphic Events Association, ensuring a well-supported and professional experience for everyone attending.
