Painted Desert Fur Con (PDFC) 2027

Painted Desert Fur Con (PDFC) runs from January 1 to 4, 2027, at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown in Phoenix, Arizona. This furry convention serves as a key winter gathering for the region, bringing together attendees for panels, socials, and dance events. The venue is a self-contained hub, meaning you can walk to every major event without needing a rental car. Light rail links from the airport make the trip straightforward for those flying in.

The 2027 edition carries the theme 'Mad Max: Furry Road', which sets a distinct tone for the week. You will find a mix of attendee-hosted panels, artist alley spaces, and community-focused socials. The event is part of the AEI federation, so the structure and policies align with other major conventions in that group. If you are new to the scene, the organized layout helps you navigate the floor and find your way around the hotel with ease.

Phoenix weather in early January is mild, offering a comfortable break from colder climates. The convention fosters a welcoming atmosphere for both seasoned regulars and first-time visitors. Whether you are there for the dance floor or the dealer den, the community spirit is a central part of the experience. It is a solid choice for anyone looking to start the year with a focused and engaging furry event.
