New Year's Furry Festival 2026

New Year's Furry Festival is a 21+ convention hosted by Furry Weekend Atlanta at the Courtland Grand Hotel in Atlanta. It runs from December 30, 2026 to January 1, 2027, and focuses on high-energy live entertainment rather than panel-heavy programming. The event is designed to be intimate and community-focused, giving attendees a dedicated space to celebrate the holiday season with the furry community. You will find a massive stage featuring musicians and DJs throughout the day, keeping the energy high without feeling like a crowded expo floor.

The venue setup includes a fully covered and heated pool that operates from 10 AM to 10 PM daily. Yes, there are pool parties in December, with DJs spinning by the water. This is a completely closed and dedicated space for registered attendees only, so you can relax, dance, and socialize without worrying about outside traffic. There are also quiet rooms and sober spaces available for those who need a break from the noise, along with bars serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. An arcade and board game room provide low-key options for downtime between performances.

This is a smaller, more personal event compared to major conventions, prioritizing connection and shared celebration over scale. The atmosphere is warm and upbeat, perfect for making new friends or catching up with old ones. Hotel room blocks are available at the Courtland Grand, with rates starting from $169 per night plus taxes and fees. Booking a room requires a matching NYFF registration to secure your spot. It is a straightforward, fun way to ring in the new year with a group that gets it.
