GoldenHorn 2026

GoldenHorn 2026 is Slovenia's annual furry convention, running from November 5 to 8 at the Hotel Slovenija in Portoroz. This is a smaller, community-focused event that has grown steadily since its 2023 launch, moving to this seaside resort to keep programming, accommodation, and social spaces under one roof. The 2026 theme, Stories of the Old Ones, leans into local folklore and the Adriatic setting, giving the weekend a distinct regional flavour.

The schedule is packed with daytime activities, including retro gaming sessions, storytelling circles, and drop-in co-op games. You can also expect beach photoshoots during the golden hour, treasure hunts, and nightly DJ sets. The venue setup allows for easy movement between events, so you can chill in the lounge or join a group activity without navigating across town. It is a practical, relaxed environment for connecting with fellow furs.

The event is organised by SloFurs, who have built a strong reputation for maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. With attendance nearly quadrupling in recent years, the community feel remains central. Whether you are there for the gaming tournaments or just to enjoy the coastal views, the focus is on quality interactions and a comfortable stay. It is a solid choice for those looking for a dedicated European furry gathering with a unique seaside vibe.
