Furvester 2026

Furvester is an annual furry convention in Karlsruhe, Germany, running from 29 December 2026 to 3 January 2027. The name blends 'furry' with Silvester, the German word for New Year's Eve, and the event has been organized by Flussfussels e.V. since 2017. This edition marks a significant move to the Stadthalle Karlsruhe, a larger venue that replaces the previous hotel location. The change allows for a bigger main stage, an expanded Dealers' Den, and more space for attendees to breathe. You can count down to midnight with the whole community, surrounded by modern facilities and walkable hotels right around the corner.

The programming includes a dance competition, fursuit games, a retro arcade, and a charity auction. A new fursuit playground and a cozy themed bar are also planned for this year. The convention supports a different animal welfare or conservation cause each edition, having raised over 36,000 euros across past runs. The atmosphere is known for being intimate and comfortable, with plenty of places to relax and cuddle. Direct trains and autobahn routes make central Karlsruhe easy to reach, and the city offers affordable food options within walking distance of the venue.

This is a great opportunity to ring in the new year with friends old and new. The event focuses on community and charity, with a strong emphasis on animal welfare. The new venue brings a fresh energy to the convention, with more space for socializing and activities. Whether you are a first-timer or a regular, Furvester offers a warm and welcoming environment. The combination of a larger venue and a strong community spirit makes this a standout event in the European furry calendar.
