Furrest City (FCFC) 2026

Furrest City (FCFC) is a two-day furry convention taking place in Cleveland, Ohio, from September 19 to 21, 2026. It marks the city's first multi-day furry event in roughly three decades, filling a gap that has existed since the 1990s. The event is hosted at the Cleveland State University Student Center, a downtown venue that is easily reachable by public transit. This location is a deliberate choice, as the organizing team started in 2024 to create accessible events for the local community. You do not need a car to get around, which keeps things simple and low stress for everyone attending.

The group behind the convention is a local 501(c)(3) non-profit that grew out of smaller community meetups. They focus on running fun and accessible activities, ranging from fur walks to game nights. The name Furrest City is a playful nod to Cleveland's historic nickname, the Forest City. This local identity runs through the whole event, with mascots and programming that reflect the city's character. It is a ground-up, community-built con that feels very much of its place, rather than a generic corporate affair.

As the inaugural edition, many details like the specific theme and guest lineup are still being finalized. You should keep an eye on their official channels for updates. The vibe is warm and welcoming, designed to connect the local furry community while celebrating the city itself. It is a chance to be part of a convention from its very first year, helping to build something new in the region. The atmosphere is expected to be comfortable and inclusive, with a focus on community connection and shared enjoyment.
