Furcation 2026

Furcation is a UK furry convention running from the 20th to the 23rd November 2026 at Sandy Glade Holiday Park in Burnham-on-Sea. The 2026 edition carries the theme 'Press Start!' and keeps the format that defines the event: exclusive use of a coastal holiday park rather than a hotel block. Attendees book whole units, such as caravans, chalets or lodges, and share the space with friends. This setup creates a relaxed, community-focused atmosphere that feels very different from larger city conventions.

The venue sits on the coast, so you get sea air and a pool to unwind in. While there is an official event track, the calendar is intentionally flexible. Many attendees use the extra space to host their own gatherings, explore the local area or simply hang out. The layout suits groups who want a base to return to, with the main social areas close by for easy access.

Furcation has been running since 2016 and is known for its volunteer-led structure. Any surplus is reinvested into the next edition, keeping the focus on the community rather than profit. If you are looking for a cosy, low-pressure weekend where you can be yourself, this is a solid option. Just keep in mind that accommodation is compulsory and booked through the official registration system.
