Eurofurence 2027

Eurofurence 31 is the 31st edition of Europe's largest furry convention, running from August 18 to 22, 2027, at the CCH Congress Center in Hamburg, Germany. This five-day event takes over the entire venue, creating a massive hub for the international community. With a grid of 100 partner hotels across the city, you will have plenty of options for where to stay while you are there. The scale is significant, drawing attendees from over 80 countries, so expect a very diverse and lively atmosphere in the halls.

The theme for this year is Midnight at the Lab. Imagine pushing open the doors to find workbenches covered in half-finished experiments and strange devices humming in the quiet. It is a playful, slightly mysterious vibe that encourages you to explore the hidden corners of the convention. The organizers have crafted a narrative that feels like you are sneaking around after hours, discovering secret passages and meeting unexpected guides. It is a great way to frame the social interactions and events throughout the week.

You will find a wide range of programming, including panels, art shows, and two distinct dance competitions. The convention is known for its friendly atmosphere and strong community focus. Whether you are a seasoned attendee or a first-timer, the environment is welcoming and inclusive. Remember that the venue is next to Planten un Blomen park, which is a nice spot to relax between events. The local transport links are excellent, making it easy to get around Hamburg. This is a major event in the furry calendar, so plan your travel early to secure your spot.
