Running from 18 to 21 September 2026, the event takes place within a 14th-century castle, offering a distinct historical atmosphere that differs from standard conference centres. The 2026 theme, “Age of Heroes,” invites attendees to engage with a narrative of heroic deeds and fellowship, anchored by the event mascot, Twizell. The convention maintains a relaxed, communal vibe, with a private bar and a dedicated fursuit lounge available on the first floor for Saturday and Sunday.

Registration for 2026 is currently closed due to high demand, with all room types and non-residential spots on a waiting list. The event is strictly for attendees aged 18 or over on their first day, requiring government-approved proof of age upon arrival. Accommodation options include Courtyard Classic, Courtyard Superior, Castle Classic, and Single rooms, with breakfast included for those booking through the convention. Non-residential attendees can join for the four-day period. The venue provides accessible facilities, including ground-floor bedrooms with walk-in showers and a lift to the first-floor event spaces, though it notes that as a historic building, it cannot guarantee modern accessibility standards.

Wild North is a not-for-profit organisation that supports local animal-based charities annually, having raised over £5,500 in previous years. The 2026 charity partner will be announced closer to the event date. A distinctive feature of the convention is the attendee-contributed conbook, where registered furries can submit stories, art, or poetry to be bound into a printed edition.
