Barkada FurFest

Barkada FurFest is a two-day furry convention scheduled for 5–6 September 2026 at the Sequoia Hotel Manila Bay in Parañaque, Metro Manila. The second edition adopts a 'Birthday Bash Pizzeria' theme, aiming to create an intimate, community-focused atmosphere distinct from large stadium venues. The event is rated 16+, with attendees under 18 required to submit a signed parental consent form from a parent or legal guardian prior to registration.

Programming includes a talent show, fashion show, karaoke room, fursuit lounge, and a VRChat portal. The guest of honour is Kokuboo, who will participate in a dedicated panel. A charity auction supporting wildlife conservation is also part of the schedule. The venue comprises multiple rooms, including Grand Mahogany (614.69 sqm), Mahogany A, Mahogany B, Aspen, Rosewood, and Hazel, allowing for simultaneous events and dedicated spaces.

Logistics are designed for convenience, with the hotel located near Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Check-in for on-site guests begins on 4 September 2026. The convention features a dealers den for local artists and vendors. All ticket tiers are currently sold out, with prices ranging from ₱1,699 for the basic 2-day ticket to ₱34,999 for the Grand Sponsor tier, which includes a guaranteed hotel room for three nights.
