DESCRIPTION:Further Confusion (FC) is the West Coast's anchor furry convent
 ion\, running from 14 to 19 January 2027 at the San Jose Convention Center
 . This is the big one that traditionally kicks off the global calendar yea
 r\, so expect a full house and a lot of energy. The 2027 theme is FC Land:
  The Wildest Ride in The Fandom\, which sets the tone for a week of high-o
 ctane fun rather than a quiet retreat.\nThe event is a non-profit run by A
 nthropomorphic Arts and Education\, with a volunteer team of over 250 peop
 le keeping things moving. You will find educational panels\, a massive jur
 ied art show\, and nightly dance parties. It is a welcoming space where yo
 u do not need to be a furry to attend\, but the community vibe is strong. 
 The charity focus is a real part of the identity\, with past years raising
  significant funds for local causes.\nSan Jose is a practical base for thi
 s trip. The convention center is right in the middle of downtown\, close t
 o the VTA light rail and several hotels. You can easily walk to the Marrio
