Golden Leaves Con (GLC)

Golden Leaves Con (GLC) is a residential furry convention held in Hasliberg, Switzerland, from 28 October to 1 November 2026. As the largest furry convention in the country, it caps attendance at approximately 300 participants to maintain a tight-knit community atmosphere. The 2026 edition adopts a prehistoric theme, inviting attendees to explore a landscape of gentle brontosauruses and agile raptors. The event is strictly 18+ and takes place at two adjacent venues: the C'est la Vie guesthouse and the Panorama Hotel, both offering mountain views and access to a heated outdoor pool.

A distinctive feature of GLC is its communal dining experience, where all meals and non-alcoholic drinks are included in the entry fee and prepared fresh by a volunteer furry crew rather than a commercial catering team. This setup fosters a social hub for attendees, who come from diverse backgrounds; last year, participants from 15 different nations joined the event. The venues provide different accommodation styles, with C'est la Vie offering shared rooms in a youth hostel style and the Panorama Hotel providing three-star comfort with private bathrooms and balconies.

Attendance is allocated via a lottery system to ensure fairness, as demand consistently exceeds capacity. Couples can link their registrations to ensure they are either both selected or neither is. The event includes a fursuit lounge for changing and cooling down, a Saturday furdance with a dance contest, and opportunities for spontaneous fursuit walks to the nearby village. Dogs are not permitted, and while early arrival or late departure is generally not possible due to setup requirements, exceptions may be made for volunteers.
