DESCRIPTION:Western PA Furry Weekend (WPAFW) is a 21+ furry convention held
  at North Park Lodge in Allison Park\, Pennsylvania. Running from October 
 2 to 4\, 2026\, this long-running event brings together a close-knit commu
 nity of around 600 attendees for a weekend focused on charity and connecti
 on. It is a deliberate departure from the standard hotel convention model\
 , utilizing a lodge setting to create a relaxed\, mature atmosphere where 
 the social experience takes centre stage.\nThe event structure is unique b
 ecause it skips the traditional Dealers Den and Artist Alley entirely. Ins
 tead\, the financial focus shifts to a charity auction\, which runs as a l
 ive comedy show on the final day. This approach has raised over $70\,000 f
 or local animal rescues since 2005\, with the 2026 partner being Joey's PA
 W\, a nonprofit providing custom wheelchairs and prosthetics for dogs. You
