Furry Weekend Holland (FWH) is an all-inclusive furry convention held at Kasteel de Berckt in Baarlo, Netherlands, from April 23 to 27, 2027. The 2027 edition carries a retro "Blast From The Past" theme, inviting attendees to dust off their nostalgia with Saturday morning cartoons, ice cream trucks, and vintage vibes. This is not a standard hotel-based con; you are staying on-site in a historic castle, with lodging, catered meals, and drinks bundled into your badge. The residential format creates a tight-knit, immersive community atmosphere where the venue itself is a major part of the experience.

The event runs continuously since 2011 and maintains an intimate scale through an application-based entry process. Capacity is limited to ensure the castle environment remains comfortable and manageable for everyone. While most conventions rent hotels, FWH occupies a Rijksmonument listed heritage site, featuring parts dating back to the 12th and 13th centuries. This unique setting means you will be living, dining, and socializing within a genuine historic estate rather than a temporary exhibition hall. Programming includes a dedicated boardgame room and an artist lounge alongside the main events. The trading scene is split into two distinct programmed events: the family-friendly Animal Market for suits, accessories, and art, and the Hyena Underground Market, an after-dark adult-oriented dance party for those brave enough to stay late. Minors can attend Saturday only on a day pass with a guardian, as full weekend residential tickets are adults-only. Baarlo is a small village in Limburg, easily reached by train from Venlo or by car via the A67/A73 motorway interchange.
