ZodiaCon

ZodiaCon 2027 is a long-running Czech furry convention taking place from 2 to 6 June 2027 at the Oaza srdce hotel in Horni Bradlo. This is the fourteenth edition of the event, which has been gathering the community in the Czech countryside for over a decade. The venue sits in a protected landscape area near the Seck reservoir, offering a quiet, nature-focused setting that feels distinct from large urban cons. You get the full range of attendees, from every species and background, in a space that prioritises comfort and genuine connection.

The programming leans heavily into interactive and outdoor activities rather than standard stage shows. A multi-day Dungeons and Dragons Beast World campaign is a regular fixture, giving you a chance to dive deep into a shared narrative over several days. There are also practical workshops, such as building an ESP32 walkie-talkie, where you leave with a working device you assembled yourself. The hotel provides two large halls and several smaller rooms for SIGs, ensuring there is always a spot to gather, play, or just sit and chat with others who get it.

Logistics are straightforward, with the hotel offering around 100 beds across double and triple rooms. Meals are a la carte, with vegan options available as a standard choice at every slot, so dietary needs are handled with care. The entire registration system has been maintained by a single volunteer since 2010, which adds a nice personal touch to the admin side. It is a smaller, intimate con that values community over spectacle, making it a great fit if you prefer a relaxed, woodland vibe to your furry socials.
