DESCRIPTION:Anthro New Mexico (ANM) is the inaugural furry convention in Ne
 w Mexico\, scheduled for 4–6 September 2026 at the Crowne Plaza Albuquer
 que. Organised by the ABQ Fursuit Group\, the event features a 'Haunted Ma
 nsion' theme that permeates the venue's atmosphere and programming. The co
 nvention offers a variety of attendee-facing activities\, including a Deal
 er's Den\, DJ applications\, a variety show\, and opportunities to host pa
 nels. Guests of honour for the 2026 edition are Kyell Gold\, a furry autho
 r known for his work with Sofawolf Press\, and Rukis\, an artist and autho
 r based in New Mexico.\nCharity is a central pillar of the event\, with AN
 M partnering with Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary\, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedi
 cated to rescuing and caring for wolves and wolfdogs. The convention also 
 supports the 'Save Indigo Mountain' campaign to aid another sanctuary in C
 olorado. ANM has established a partnership with Wuellas FurFest (WUFF)\, a
  Chilean convention\, to foster international collaboration and cultural e
 xchange within the furry community.\nRegistration is open via the official
  Regfox page\, with early bird pricing available for the first 100 registr
 ants\, who are also entered into a raffle for exclusive artwork by dokiwol
 f. The event is open to all ages\, though an 18+ Dealers Den is available 
 for adult-oriented content. Hotel blocks are available for attendees\, and
  the convention aims to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for 
 the local and visiting furry community.
