FURUM (Furs Upon Malaysia)

FURUM (Furs Upon Malaysia) is a furry convention taking place in Petaling Jaya from December 11 to 14, 2026. This edition, known as FURUM X, marks the tenth anniversary of the event. It serves as a retrospective journey through the history of the local community. The convention invites attendees to relive past adventures, including scenarios involving magic schools, robot apocalypses, and space travel. This theme highlights the growth of FURUM from a small gathering into a prominent regional event. The focus is on celebrating the collective support that has shaped the convention over the last decade.

The venue is M World Hotel Petaling Jaya, located at No. 1 Persiaran Bandar Utama in the Bandar Utama area. This location is situated next to 1 Utama, which is described as the second largest mall in Malaysia. The proximity to this major shopping destination makes it a convenient meetup point for visitors. Silverfox is returning as the Guest of Honor for this anniversary edition. As a long-time Malaysian artist, Silverfox has been part of the scene since the very first FURUM. Their distinctive style is known for bringing life and sparkly eyes to highly cute characters. Beyond convention art, Silverfox has contributed illustrations to various card and board games, including Fuzzy Mage Fight by Shadow Squirrel Games.
