Heartland Howloween (HHFC)

Heartland Howloween (HHFC) is a Halloween-themed furry convention taking place from 9 to 11 October 2026 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Omaha Downtown in Omaha, Nebraska. As the second edition of the event, it features an expanded party floor and larger raves, blending furry culture with a strong rave identity. The venue is located in the city centre, close to the historic Old Market district and the Gene Leahy Riverfront, offering convenient access to local dining and entertainment.

The convention is organised by Heartland Furries, a 501c3 non-profit, and prioritises local talent and community support. The 2026 edition welcomes Dragon Roast as the Guest of Honour. Programming includes a variety of panels, ranging from witchcraft basics to morning meditation, alongside a dedicated party floor for attendees. The event also features a silent auction to support its charitable partner.

For 2026, Heartland Howloween is donating to the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska’s Youth Fund, which supports youth aged 0–20 with items such as football gear, outdoor equipment, regalia, music lessons, and educational expenses. Registration tiers range from $60 to $1,000, with higher tiers offering additional perks such as VIP lounge access, banquet dinners, and backstage access.
