Howloween

Howloween 2026 is a four-day furry convention taking place from 22 to 25 October 2026 at the Executive Hotel Vancouver Airport in Richmond, British Columbia. The event, which has been running since 2002, adopts the theme 'Project: Chimera' for this edition, framing the gathering as a response to a containment breach at a fictional laboratory. This narrative layer adds a distinctive twist to the traditional spooky festivities, inviting attendees to engage with the setting as part of the experience.

The convention is hosted by Howl Events BC Association and is designed as an all-ages, boutique-style event. Programming includes a full Dealers Den, three DJ-hosted dances, fursuit games, art games, and ample hangout space. While the main floor is open to all, a separate 'After Dark Market' operates on Friday and Saturday nights, requiring government-issued photo ID for entry. The venue is located adjacent to Vancouver International Airport and the Canada Line, offering convenient access for travellers. Dress code is flexible, ranging from full fursuits to casual street clothes, with an emphasis on community and comfort.
