MancFurs

MancFurs is a monthly community gathering for fans of anthropomorphised animals, taking place in Manchester. The upcoming session is scheduled for Saturday 12th September 2026, running from 12:00pm to 5:00pm. The event is strictly 18+ only, requiring attendees to present valid identification upon entry; please note that Citizens Cards are not accepted as proof of age.

The venue is The Church, located at 37 Chorlton Street, Manchester M1 3HN. A key feature of the programme is a fursuit walk scheduled for 2:00pm, subject to weather conditions. Participants gather outside the venue to walk through Sackville Gardens for an organised photoshoot. A dedicated Fursuit Lounge is available throughout the day, offering a climate-controlled space for suiting and de-suiting, with pre-registration recommended via the official Telegram bot to manage queues.

The venue provides accessible facilities, including a step-free accessible toilet on the ground floor and a ramp leading to the Fursuit Lounge. While the main entrance via Canal Street has a single step, the interior is mostly flat. Food and drink purchased externally cannot be brought inside, but the venue bar offers a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. Attendees are encouraged to review the community Code of Conduct to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for all.
