NordicFuzzCon 2027 is a large international furry convention held in Malmo, Sweden. Running from 24 to 28 February, the event takes place across two linked venues: the Clarion Hotel & Congress Malmo Live and the historic Valhalla building. A free shuttle bus connects the two sites, which are about ten minutes apart. This setup allows for a massive scale, with previous editions welcoming nearly 6,000 attendees from over 60 countries. It is currently one of the biggest furry gatherings in Europe. The 2027 edition carries the theme Crime Noir, continuing the convention's tradition of story-driven opening and closing ceremonies. These scripted narratives build across years, creating a unique atmosphere that goes beyond standard panels. You can expect the usual mix of dealers' den, panels, and social events, but with a distinct Nordic flair. The staff, known as the STEW, are volunteers who run the show with genuine care. They have raised over 1.5 million Swedish kronor for animal charities since the event began in 2013. Practical details matter here. The International Snack Exchange remains a favourite, where you swap sealed treats from your home country for ones from others. Valhalla hosts the dance floor and retro arcade cabinets, while the Clarion handles the main ballroom and sleeping floors.
