Furnavia 2026 is Norway’s largest annual furry convention, taking place from 27 to 31 October 2026 at the Quality Hotel Sarpsborg. The event is strictly 18+ and focuses on creating a social space for the local and international furry community. The 2026 edition runs under the theme 'Dice of Fate', which infuses the venue atmosphere, merchandise design, and programming with a tabletop role-playing game aesthetic, including a 'Great Hall' for gatherings and themed refreshment areas. The convention is held entirely within the hotel, which serves as both the venue and accommodation hub. Attendees do not need to stay at the hotel to participate, but those who book rooms gain access to the hotel’s amenities, including a pool, spa, gym, and the 'Superland' leisure area featuring water slides and mini-golf. The hotel offers various room types, with prices ranging from 1,195 NOK for a single room to 1,795 NOK for a four-person room per night. A discounted meal deal is available for a four-day dinner buffet at 1,200 NOK. Registration for the 2026 event is open, with tickets priced at 1,900 NOK for standard attendees and 2,900 NOK for sponsors. All tickets include convention entry, a lanyard, a convention t-shirt, and a sticker. Sponsors receive additional perks such as a pin, an iron-on patch, and early access to the Dealer's Den. The event has grown steadily since its first convention in 2023, with the 2025 edition hosting 444 paying attendees. Furnavia actively recruits volunteers and provides disability badges for attendees with special needs upon request.
