Confuror (CFR) is Mexico's largest furry convention, scheduled to run from 29 October to 1 November 2026 at Expo Guadalajara in Jalisco. Organised by the volunteer collective Vidafur, the event serves as the flagship gathering for the Latin American furry community. The 2026 edition adopts the theme 'Sombras del Oeste' (Shadows of the West), a Western aesthetic that aligns with the local Día de los Muertos celebrations. The convention operates as a bilingual event, with all rules, registration details, and programming available in both Spanish and English to ensure clarity for international attendees. The programme features four parallel exhibition tracks: a permanent Dealers Den, a redesigned Artist Alley with rotating mini-stands, a dedicated Art Show, and a one-night-only 18+ Night Market on Saturday evening. Attendees can participate in various activities including a fursuit dance competition, Floor Wars, and a talent show. The event maintains a community-driven atmosphere, supporting local wildlife conservation through its partnership with the Tamandua Project. In 2025, this partnership raised 20,000 MXN for conservation efforts. Registration for the 2026 event is structured into three tiers. The General tier costs 1,299 MXN and includes access from Thursday to Sunday, the conbook, a portable map guide, and a convention kit of stickers and prints. The Sponsor tier is priced at 3,299 MXN and adds the official shirt, a decorative lanyard, early access to the dealers area and registration, and extra gifts. The Super Sponsor tier costs 4,199 MXN. Minors are permitted to attend but require a signed parental-consent letter and their guardian's ID at check-in, with the accompanying guardian entering free of charge.

Furcan is a furry convention held in Puebla, Mexico, running from July 17 to 19, 2027. This edition carries the theme 'Corazon de Heroe' and takes place at the Wyndham Puebla Angelopolis. The event is organized by the local group Furros Puebla, who have been running this community since 2011. It stands as one of the major gatherings for the furry community in Mexico, sitting alongside other well-known events in the region. The convention uses a freemium model, meaning general admission to the main floor is free. You can upgrade to paid tiers for extra swag and perks if you want, but you do not need to pay to walk in and join the fun. The venue is a hotel, which simplifies things if you need a place to stay. It has an indoor pool, a restaurant, and free parking, so you can relax between panels and socials without leaving the building. Programming usually includes workshops like origami or live drawing, social meetups, and a charity auction on the final day. Last year, the auction raised money for an animal rescue group, which is a nice way to give back while you are there.
