FinFur Animus is the tenth edition of a Finnish furry convention, scheduled for 8–11 October 2026 at Hotelli Tallukka in Vääksy. The event is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. This edition adopts the medieval theme 'The Feast at Tailburg' (Häntälinnan pidot), framing the entire weekend as a narrative gathering at a lord’s table. Rather than a standard panel schedule, the convention features a venue-wide adventure game where attendees use QR codes hidden around the hotel to progress through the story, fostering a communal and roleplay-focused atmosphere. The venue is a lakeside hotel situated by the Vääksy Canal, providing a relaxed setting with access to a sauna and swimming pool. Attendees are required to book hotel rooms directly with the property using a code issued during registration, with a minimum stay of three nights. The event includes a dealer’s den, an art exhibition, and a yearly charity drive supporting Finnish animal-welfare organizations. In the previous edition (2025), the convention raised €2,664.50 for the wildlife-care charity Eläinsuojeluyhdistys Kuura. Registration opens on 18 July 2026, with an early-bird discount available until 20 August 2026. The event offers three ticket tiers: a basic event ticket, a 'Knight' tier including a T-shirt and badge photo, and a 'Nobility' tier with additional perks. Accessibility provisions include free entry for one assistant for attendees holding an EU disability card with the 'A' marking, provided notice is given at least two weeks in advance. All hotel rooms were reported as fully booked as of 15 August 2026.
