The Burrow: Halifax Furry Chill Night

Find a cosy corner of the fandom at The Burrow, Atlantic Furs' monthly evening at Glitter Bean Cafe in Halifax. Lower lighting, lo-fi music, a drawing space and a vendor area give the gathering its own quieter rhythm. Fursuits and furry gear are welcome, with a photo area for anyone who wants a memory of the evening. The Burrow runs from 5.30pm to 8.30pm on the second Saturday of each month and is for ages 18 and over. A ticket is required, with booking links shared through Atlantic Furs' community channels when available. The café serves drinks and light food, and you can bring a snack of your own. Check the latest ticket announcement before travelling, and bring ID if you plan to buy alcoholic drinks.

Calfurry

Calfurry 2026 is a three-day furry convention taking place from 4 to 6 September 2026 at The Glenmore Inn & Convention Centre in Calgary, Alberta. As the second edition of the event, it adopts the theme 'Midway Mayhem', transforming the venue into an amusement park setting with midway games, character meets, and a full schedule of entertainment hosted by Cow Gary and Rosie. The programme features a variety show, dance competition, floor wars, a car show, and a marketplace populated by local creators. The event is all-ages during the day, with specific programming restricted to those 18 and over after 10 pm on Friday and Saturday nights. Minors under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, while those aged 16 or 17 may attend unaccompanied with signed parental permission. Attendees staying at the partner hotel, Hotel Blackfoot, can use a complimentary shuttle service that runs between the two locations throughout the convention days. The venue is located approximately 20 minutes from Calgary International Airport. Calfurry partners with Furball Force Animal Rescue for 2026, an Alberta-based charity dedicated to helping overlooked rescue animals find homes. In 2025, the community raised $10,000 to cover a critical surgery for one of the charity's dogs. Registration tiers include a 3-day pass and single-day passes, with early bird pricing available until 1 March 2026. Club Calfurry members receive a 20% discount on all registration levels.
